be quiet! Showcases Pure Base 501 with Solid Side Panel at CES 2025

The be quiet! Pure Base 501 mainstream case series was revealed around late October last year, but it is possible that a fairly new product has not reached all international markets. Company representatives were keen to show off the compact Pure Base 501 Air Flow White model at this year's CES trade event. TechPowerUp spent some time looking at the version sporting a solid/closed steel side panel—ideal for builders who are not fussed about displaying their system's innards.

The flashier Pure Base 501 Air Flow White with a glass side panel was also within reach at be quiet!'s Las Vegas suite. TPU checked out the case's very clean interior layout and spotted the two (pre-fitted as standard) Pure Wings 3 140 mm PWM fans. be quiet! has placed emphasis on the Pure Base 501's traditional aesthetic—devoid of loud RGB lighting zones. The case has been designed with versatility in mind, and its smart cable routing system was on display at CES 2025. TechPowerUp will be looking forward to the potential arrival of a review unit!

Thermaltake Shows New PC Cases at CES 2025

Thermaltake took CES 2025 show by force, showing a lot of new and updated products, including a couple of new PC cases. In addition to new color options for the already available The Tower 600 and The Tower 250 PC cases, it also showcased a couple of new and rather interesting cases, including the TR100 Travel PC Case, which will be available with an optional travel suite case accessory, making it ideal for LAN parties, professional gaming tournaments, or remote work setups. Thermaltake also showcased the new View 390 and View 600 PC cases, as well as a couple of workstation cases, the AX500 and the AX700.

The TR100 Travel PC case is an 18.9-liter dual-chamber chassis, which packs quite a few features, considering it is meant to be portable. Thermaltake was keen to note that it designed the case to be as portable as possible without compromising support for high-end hardware, making it ideal for digital nomads, esports enthusiasts or professionals that demand both performance and portability. It supports up to 360 mm long and 70 mm tall graphics cards, up to 280 mm AIO radiator or two 120/140 mm fans, comes with perforated panels and dust filters for dust and debris protection, and supports up to two 2.5-inch SSDs. Of course, it only supports SFX or SFX-L power supplies, but this should not be a problem as Thermaltake already showcased a 1,200 W SFX PSU at the CES 2025 show. The TR100 also comes with a rather neat optional travel suite case accessory, which has room for both the PC case, portable monitor, keyboard, mouse, and even a Meta Quest headset.

InWin Debuts PRISM Glass Chassis & SHIFT Test Bench at CES 2025

InWin has unveiled two brand-new products at CES 2025—the TechPowerUp team made sure to head over to the manufacturer's Las Vegas suite in order to check out their PRISM chassis and SHIFT hybrid test bed/display case. The former proved to be fairly difficult to photograph due to its two-way mirror glass side panels—internal hardware can be viewed from the outside, but the reflective panel material makes this a challenge to capture on camera. InWin believes that the PRISM's geometric glass design will provide a standout and unique panoramic 180-degree view of its surroundings.

This mid-tower case accepts ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX mainboards and a maximum of eleven air cooling fans (four included as standard). Liquid cooling radiators—going up to 360 mm in size—can be arranged internally in multiple positions. Large mesh filters are visible from the front and top—said to enhance the case's airflow and cooling properties. InWin reps were keen to showcase the PRISM's rear-mounted handle—this wing-shaped attachment allows for a decent level of portability.

Thermaltake Tower 600 Mid and 250 Mini Tower Unveiled in New Colors at CES 2025

Thermaltake has decided to kick off the year at CES 2025 in a fashionable way by expanding the color options for its best-selling PC case series: the Tower 600 Mid Tower and the Tower 250 Mini Tower. It accommodates up to a 420 mm AIO radiator on the right side, a 360 mm AIO radiator on the left side, and supports GPUs up to 400 mm in length. This year, Thermaltake introduced six new color options: Racing Green, Gravel Sand, Bubble Pink, Bumblebee, Light-Year Green, and Future Dusk, in addition to the existing Black, Snow, Hydrangea Blue, and Matcha Green variants.

The Tower 250 Mini-ITX case, released in November 2024, originally came in Black, Snow, Hydrangea Blue, and Matcha Green for users seeking a compact yet versatile PC chassis. For 2025, Thermaltake has added two new color variants: Mint Strawberry and Butter Caramel. The case supports up to a 360 mm radiator on the right side and up to 8 x 120 mm fans or 5 x 140 mm fans, with two pre-installed CT120 cooling fans included. It fits GPUs up to 360 mm in length and accommodates both ATX and SFX power supplies up to 200 mm in length.

Building on that legacy, this innovative system sets a new standard for customization, offering unmatched flexibility for PC builders to craft their ideal setup. The FRAME 4000D supports dual 360 mm radiators, delivering robust cooling for high-performance systems. With three radiator mounting locations—front, roof, and side—and a 3D Y-Pattern front airflow panel, the case ensures efficient cooling to keep components running smoothly during demanding sessions.

Cooler Master Unveils Cooling X Pro Case with a Unique Liquid Cooling Design

The Cooling X Pro from Cooler Master is a case designed for the "cooling defined build," a high-end PC build where the primary focus is on high-performance liquid cooling of the CPU, GPU, and NVMe SSD. The case reimagines the layout of key components in the build, such as positioning the PSU toward the front, putting the CPU and VGA under a proprietary liquid cooling solution, and using a large, common square 360 mm x 360 mm radiator to dissipate heat from both. This is ventilated by four 180 mm fans.

Besides this unique cooling solution, the Cooling X Pro appears to feature an aluminium inner chassis similar to the MasterFrame Aluminium series that the company also showcased this year. The various panels aren't as modular, the one facing the left side is a curved tempered glass. The right probably features a coarse mesh panel to let the 360 mm x 360 mm radiator breathe.

Cooler Master Showcases MasterFrame Aluminium 600 and Aluminium 400 Cases at CES

Cooler Master at the 2025 International CES showcased its new MasterFrame line of cases designed around interlocking aluminium panels. The idea behind these cases is to give end-users the ability to swap out any of the six panels of the case to vastly alter functionality (eg: to replace a mesh-type front-panel with a glass-type one). The MasterFrame Aluminium 400 is a wide Micro-ATX tower, while the MasterFrame Aluminium 600 is an ATX mid-tower. The cases feature a frosty aluminium look that's very reminiscent of the GeForce TITAN graphics cards from last decade. They also have a very premium build quality, with no panel gaps. Among the panels shown at CES were different kinds of patterned glass, a gunmetal panel, and what looks like a magnesium alloy panel.
