Introduction

G-Wolves Logo

Established in 2018, G-Wolves is a peripherals company based in China. Much like its name already suggests, the HTX Mini 8K is a sized-down HTX 4K. At the same time, the weight reduction is far greater than the size reduction, as the HTX Mini 8K manages to weigh no more than 28 g while retaining a solid top shell, as opposed to the 43 g of its larger sibling. In terms of internals, PixArt's PAW3395 sensor capable of 26,000 CPI is used, along with Omron D2LS-21 (20 M) switches for the main buttons. In wireless operation up to 8000 Hz polling is possible, and G-Wolves advertises up to 80 hours of battery life at 1000 Hz. Configuration is done conveniently through a web driver. The HTX Mini 8K is available in black, white, red, all-black, ruby, blue, violet, or gray.
